Here’s one of the effects you can create with the cube:
A Card at Any Number
Get several spectators to shuffle a deck of cards, show a prediction card and place it on the table.
Next, show the Awe Sum cube. It’s a regular 2×2 cube, but it has numbers on it. Each part of the cube has a number. You explain that the four numbers on one side can be added together to generate a new number.
If you shuffle the cube, you naturally generate a different number. In fact, a 2×2 cube has 3,674,160 combinations …. That’s a lot!
Have your spectator shuffle the dice as much as he/she wants and when he/she is done, he/she puts the dice on the table. Now there is ONE side that no one can see or no one knows the number that is the bottom side.
Explain the idea: they add up the numbers and count as many cards from the deck. The spectator turns the dice and reveals the numbers, counts the number of cards he ended up with and ends up with one card.
It miraculously matches the prediction!
Everything can be examined.
