The Metal Clatter Box is a classic magic trick. The magician asks a spectator to hold the decorated box. He then removes a scarf from the box. He makes the scarf disappear – and then claims that the scarf has magically returned to the box.
When the spectator tries to open the box, it falls apart completely, but with the scarf attached to the top of the box, which the spectator holds in their hand. This surprising effect gives a good laugh to the audience.
