Pen Thru Bill, Perfect Penetration – it goes by many names.
You borrow a bill from the audience and kindly lend them a pen so they can mark the bill and make sure there are no secret trapdoors or other sinister things. You get the pen and note back – and stick the same pen through the marked note. The pen comes out – and to the surprise of the audience, the note is whole and unharmed. It’s powerful magic at close range. The note is returned with a thank you for the loan. And if the spectator wants to look at the pen again, they are welcome. A complete trick (you have to borrow the note) with instructions and pen.
The trick is impaired as the pen cannot write.
