Description
Everyone has heard of the Indian rope trick. A rope becomes completely rigid and a person is able to climb into the sky on the rope. This rope may not reach the sky, but on the other hand, this soft and supple rope can suddenly become completely rigid and float horizontally in the air. This may not be surprising because you hold on to both ends of the rope BUT you let go at one end of the rope and it’s stiff as a board.
In the Christmas version, you talk about the water freezing and you’re holding an icicle that melts when it thaws.
And in the gospel version, you can use the Stiff Rope when you tell about Moses and Aaron and the staff turning into a snake and back again (Exodus chapter 7).
