Tipsy Topsy: You and a spectator are each given a pipe and a feather duster. The spectator is asked to do the same as you. Insert the feather duster into the tube with the stick first. The tube is now held vertically so that the stick is at the bottom of the tube. You now ask the spectator to follow the same beat as you. Turn the tube upside down and then turn it upside down again. This is done a few times. The feather duster is pulled out. Yours comes out with the stick first, the spectator’s with the feather duster first. You try one more time, but the result is the same. On the third try, the spectator manages to pull out the feather duster stick first, but much to the spectator’s surprise, the feather duster has changed color.
