Blank Night – John Archer.
Only two magicians fooled Penn & Teller in the inaugural Fool Us show, and one of them was John Archer. He did it with a clever, simple and really funny routine called “Blank Night”.
Here’s Blank Night with everything you need to use it in your next show. You are shown five envelopes and you explain that one of them contains a prize of DKK 200 (or another amount). People in the audience choose four of the five envelopes but realize that they have only won small consolation prizes (such as a DDK 0 note, your business card or nothing at all).
Without any suspicious movements, you open the last envelope and clearly show that inside is the DKK 200 note! The banknote is not folded and you can clearly see it being pulled out of the envelope. No loads, switches or thumb tips. Both Penn and Teller were speechless when John Archer showed “Blank Night”.
You get it complete with detailed PDF instructions in English, specially made envelopes and gimmicks. Envelopes are text-free so you can write whatever words you want on them.
