This is a really great trick, simple – and using common things in many modern people’s everyday lives: QR code and cell phone.
HERE’S WHAT HAPPENS.
You show three different boarding passes. You tell the audience that the three boarding passes have different cities as their destination.
You ask a spectator to name a random city somewhere in the world. Yes, there are no absolute limitations. The spectator then chooses one of the three boarding passes. On each boarding pass there is a QR code. The two unselected tickets are scanned – and they go to different cities… but when the spectator scans the selected boarding pass, Google Maps opens in the exact location the spectator selected from the beginning!
You never touch the spectator’s phone and the boarding passes are visible and searchable.
And it’s easy. How easy? Even your spectator can do it.
