Description
You show a red frame with a picture of Pelle Rabbit, a real magic rabbit. He turns from white to brown and back to white again. But the audience has figured you out. You just turn the frame around while holding it behind your back. But, that’s what happens. You show the back of the frame – and everyone sees the back of the white rabbit. And when you flip the frame again – well, it’s not just the audience that’s a big question mark. There’s also a big question mark on the frame!
Pelle Rabbit was originally made by Egelo in Norway. Since then, the trick has been made by Fun Incorporated in the USA, among others. The famous children’s entertainer David Ginn is one of the people who helped make this trick famous.
The trick is also known as the Hocus Pocus Hare.
