Description
Rhadini’s color-changing giant dice: 5 giant dice in 5 different colors are on the table. A large tube, 4 bags with the letters A, B, C and D, and 5 playing cards with the same colors as the dice.
You stack the 5 dice on top of each other. Place the five playing cards in the transparent plastic bag. The large tube is placed over the dice.
A spectator is asked to pull one of the playing cards out of the bag. For example, the red one. You lift the tube off the dice and everyone can see that one of the dice has disappeared, the red one.
Each of the remaining 4 dice is placed individually in the bags with the letters A, B, C and D.
The spectator now gets to choose one of the letter bags. You now say that you will retrieve the red cube from the bag chosen by the spectator. For example, the spectator has chosen bag B, but you have “misheard” and now take a red cube out of bag D. The spectator will probably protest and you apologize and explain that you heard it as bag D. You now take a red cube out of bag C. The spectator protests again and you apologize again for choosing wrong and take a red cube from bag A. Again wrong. Finally, you take a red cube out of bag B. All four cubes have turned red.
