Thumbs Up! is a booklet containing a series of magic routines and ideas with a thumb. The booklet is for magicians who have the imagination to do more than just make a scarf disappear. Is this the latest thing? Yes and no. No! Because the book is not new, and Yes! because much of what is new is often “old tricks” that have been repackaged. And the basis for many of the “new” ideas can be found in a booklet like this. There are really good explanatory texts and good illustrations.
The booklet is in English, written by John Kenyon and in A5 format. There are 13 routines on 43 pages. The layout shows that the booklet was first published in 1948. However, this is a newer printing where the text and illustrations stand out.
