Description
Topsy Turvy Soda – a great and fun routine for your children’s show.
The magician gets a child to help. Both have a bottle and a metal tube. Both hold a bottle at the bottom and the tube from above with the thumb inside and 3 fingers outside. The bottles are covered. While both hold the tube with one hand on top and the other hand on the bottom, they both turn the bottles and tubes three times. The magician lifts his pipe and shows that his bottle is now facing the right way, but unfortunately the child’s bottle is upside down.
The magician asks the child to turn the bottle over and do it again. The magician and the child start again, but this time – after turning three times – the magician takes two fingers and pulls his bottle out by the neck, while the child struggles to get his fingers around his bottle, which is still upside down. The magician and child try again, but it doesn’t work.
Finally, the magician gets the child to hold his bottle and tube. The tube is lifted to show that the bottle is upside down, and when he waves his wand and lifts the tube again, the bottle turns upside down! The child has made MAGIC!
The trick is also called Tricky Bottles or Trick Bottles. Trick Bottles.
