Traffic Chips: Doing magic is a bit like a traffic light. Sometimes people say STOP like at a red light. Show the red chip. But sometimes people want to WAIT like at a yellow light. The chip changes color to yellow. Place the chip in your helper’s hand. And some people want to WALK. When the helper opens their hand, the chip has changed color again.
Your helper can check the chip!
Then you borrow a coin. You put the coin and chip in your hand. Take the coin away and put it in your pocket. It reappears in your hand along with the chip. Then take the chip and put it in your pocket. When you open your hand, it’s completely empty.
