Description
You first show the cards face up. Then you divide the cards into 2 piles, turn one pile face up and the other face down. Then you shuffle the cards and ask a spectator to choose a card. When he has done so, he puts it back in the deck. You make a magic move, flip all the cards, fan them out so everyone can see that all cards are face up except the selected card, which is face up.
Includes a comprehensive instructional DVD with many different routines for this fantastic card game.
Dai Vernon’s Triumph is one of the classics of magic. The trick was originally created by Theodora DeLand in 1914 under the title Inverto. In 1918, DeLand sold the rights to her effect to SS Adams & Co, which is now owned by Magic Makers. Since the 1970s, the effect is also known as Cheek-to-Cheek.
